The Center for the Healing of Racism offers DIALOGUE: RACISM, a two-day interactive workshop, which provides a safe, respectful, and loving atmosphere where individuals can learn about racism, share personal experiences, dispel lingering fears and guilt, and get to know each other. The two days will use film, hard data, and small and large group processing.
Topics Include:
Defining Prejudice and Racism and How Racism is Perpetuated
Unaware Racism (Implicit Bias) and White Privilege
Stereotypes and How They Affect Us
Cultural Racism
Internalized Racism
Institutionalized Racism
Oneness of Humanity and The Next Steps
Please plan to attend both days in full.
Lunch is available for a donation. If you have special dietary needs, please bring a lunch that doesn’t need refrigeration.
