Check out the Parade & Events Lineup at Dia De Los Muertos 2024 Galveston. It's Gonna Be Fun!

Updated: Oct 24

The Fall Season is upon us and it is time to get outside to enjoy the crisp cooler weather that the season brings with your friends and family. One Annual Galveston Fall Festival to put on your list is the rapidly approaching Annual Dia De Los Muertos that takes place each year at the Old Galveston County Courthouse grounds. Each year, this important cultural festival provides top notch entertainment, great food and drinks, shows, and a wonderful parade with community participants, interesting and stunning characters. LULAC 151 Galveston is proud to present the 4th Annual Dia De Los Muertos Fiesta - Kicking off with our parade on Sat., October 26th at Noon on 21st and Ball.

Even though this has been a great event every year since its inception in Galveston, you have to make it this year to see all of the new arrivals and participants. And while I don't want to give it all away, one attraction that the kids will love is the opportunity to get a picture with Bumble Bee. C'mon oldtimers....you know the Autobot Transformer in the movies, Bumble Bee?

Yes, Mr. Bee has agreed to transform himself from his Classic Chevy Camaro form to Bumble Bee on October 26th just to entertain the little ones with his antics and some pictures with his favorite friends. Mr. Bee did tell me that he can't wait for Oct. 26th. In fact, he has been scoping out the beach the past couple of weeks disguised as an old Willys Jeep!

Below you will find a parade map and just know that the parade is filled with a long list of community participants, many of the legacy performances, and new dancers, like The Spellbound Dancing Witches that are sure to wow. The Dia De Los Muertos Parade is a free event sponsored by LULAC 151.

.....So now you are out of all excuses. Come on out and enjoy the festivities. Bring your family and friends. We look forward to seeing you.

Special thanks to our parade decorations sponsor, Padilla & Rodriguez
